Take your time and work with your client to plot the systems-within-systems they are apart of. Gain information about how these systems impact their development and where interventions can be made. This can be an active document that guides therapy and reveal targets.  It also helps the child externalize issues they may have previously internalize as they come to see how their environment has impacted them.
